Its been a while since I’ve posted because… you guessed it… I’ve been traveling! I’m back recently from Alaska and after a short recoup at home will be traveling to Hawaii.
This image was taken near Juneau Alaska with my Dad on a rainy, gloomy day. The light was perfect for longer exposures, but we had to work fast to beat the rushing tide. I love old structures like this with oxidizing, rusty old metals and crumbling stone work. It reminds me that nothing is impervious to Mother Nature. One day we will all fade and crumble into the sea.
This building is known as the Pump House and can be found at Sandy Beach near Juneau, Alaska.
