Leo Carrillo State Beach is always beautiful. I remember playing in the caves, lounging on the sand, and finding treasures in the tide pools when I was a kid. I can always recall a lot of significant family memories here. The clouds looked like they were going to add something special to the sunset tonight, so I headed over to the beach last minute to see what it looked like. It was amazing. I knew the tide would be too high to explore the caves, but what I didn’t realize was that the surf we had this week was still hitting pretty good. It made for some fun time exposures over the rocks. Let me know if you have a favorite image, and if you have any memories of Leo Carrillo yourself!
