Malibu Lagoon

I’ve been spending a lot of time in this spot lately. The Malibu Lagoon is a sacred place. The indigenous people here knew it, and apparently birds know it too! I’ve never seen so many pelicans in one place in all my life, no to mention the other birds that use this recently restructured (and hopefully saved) lagoon as a migratory way station. I hope you feel some of the magic that can happen here when you expand your view from the ocean, turn toward the setting sun, and recognize that there is a whole lot more to the Malibu lifestyle than celebs, fancy cars and restaurants.
